Leaving bestie for boyfriend

Me and my ex/boyfriend of 4 years has been through some real tough times. And I am really ready to give him what he wants. Except, I don't want to give up my friend for 5 years. She's always been there when he hasn't and she's always been there even when we were mad at each other 😓. I want to spend my senior year with her before I graduate. I really want to make things work this time fr! But giving a way my only friend ? Idk. I'm afraid my he'll leave me and then when I need her she won't take me back. What should I do?

P.S- me and my boyfriend is not together at the moment but we are not talking to other people or having sexual relations with anyone either.
