I know my boyfriends mom doesn't like me... And it annoys me that sometimes when she calls and I'm with him he says that he's running errands. But there's times that she calls and he rather not answer. Like why? Why is it so hard for her to accept I'm HIS gf and that he's is OLD enough to make his own decisions😡😡

Moms usually don't like girlfriends for certain reasons. Have you shown her respect? Gratitude? Have you taken interest in her at all, or tried to talk to her- or are you one of those girls who comes through her house and doesn't even say anything? It could be she doesn't like your attitude...and your boyfriend lying and saying you're running errands? Puss move on his part; if he was serious about you, he wouldn't mind telling his mom to shove it, if her anger actually was reasonless.

None of my boyfriends mums have ever liked me. I basically just don't let it bother me. If they want to be a bitch about it that's fine, I'll still be nice, that way I don't give them a reason to hate me.

You should come straight out and ask him, say how it makes you feel insecure and like you're not worth it. I am exactly the same, my SO mother hates me with a passion. She has the "no one is good enough for my baby boy" attitude & wants him and his ex to get back together as they have kids together.

A mama's boy will make an amazing compassionate husband and father. Tell him how you feel! If you guys get more serious... as in marriage, make sure he knows that you come before her.

My mil didn't like me the entire first year and a half of our relationship. She got over it mostly when she realized I wasn't leaving her son and supported him through poverty, and also after he proposed to me. Then after three and a half years of a great relationship, she ruined it with her reaction to my infertility.

I don't even bother. My fiancé back then used to have hook ups and all that bs and she was perfectly fine with it and even asked for them. Now, that he found someone who loves him, respects him in every single way possible, helps him be a better person. Further his education and all that she got mad. Also criticizing because I already had a 2 year old. Ok like, but why. You got with another man and you had him. And had two other kids. Now, almost 3 years later, she is perfectly fine. We laugh, drink together. She loves and adores her grandkids (fiancé and I have a baby, and then there is my son). She couldn't be happier.

I don't think my bfs Mom likes me either but whatever ....we aren't breaking up over it. We've been together almost two years and she still holds a grudge about something that happened before we were an official couple. We had JUST started seeing each other and somehow she tracked him to my house. We had been spending time together and I guess it took time away from her so she hunted him down, showed up at my house at 7am on a Sunday morning, demanding to be let in. I was asleep and he answered the door but wouldn't let her in....he just talked to her on the porch. She STILL brings this up and I wasn't even there😕. My bf is 25 years old and she's at my house demanding to "talk to an adult"!  Hell lady, he IS an adult. Anyway it's bearable because he has no problem standing up for me. If your man isn't standing up for you, you might not wanna let yourself be too serious about him because he may not be serious about you. You'll be fine; you can deal but don't close your eyes to what this says about him.
