Bedridden at 24 weeks
Went to see my high risk on for a regular bi weekly appt and was told my cervix has shortened from 3.5 cm to 1 since two weeks ago. I receive steroid injections and was told I'll be on modified bed rest. Meaning I can get up and walk for no more than 15 mins every few hours or so.
Has anyone ever had a short cervix issue and delivered close to full term? I couldn't get the cerclage. Doctor said it's too risky at this moment, I've been getting progesterone shots weekly since 16 weeks and I now have to insert vaginal progesterone nightly.
Has anyone been put on best rest for this length of time. How did you keep yourself sane??
