Sex and changing smells

So I recently spent most of the weekend with my boyfriend. This whole relationship thing is new for me and he's my first that I've had sex with ( cause I refused to in high school with my exes) anyways I've noticed that I smell like him even after a week away and only when I get hot and bothered. We're currently a long distance relationship cause of school. Is that normal? Because if anything it makes me want to see him so much more and I'm not used to attached feelings but I feel like I'm rambling at this point.
