Depo Warning

I just want to let everyone know my experience with depo. In May of last year, I decided to get the depo shot and planned on trying to conceive a couple months later. Well, after the depo, I didn't have a single period for an entire year, nor did I ovulate. I got pregnant in May of this year, but miscarried at 10 weeks. 😞 For those considering depo, there is no guarantee that it will be short term and there is no way to shorten the time the depo takes to leave your system. If you want short term birth control and are planning to TTC a couple months down the line, I'd definitely recommend the pill instead of depo. They never told me the depo would do that at the doctor.
