I'm a midwife that's normal you do not need to go to hospital, if you haven't started contracting they will just send you home. It could be still hours/days before anything happens. Just relax at home and wait for labour.

With my first my contractions started the night after my mucus plug came out 😁 good luck! Just relax untill your contractions come, never know how long your labour will be.. Ahh you will meet your little one soon ☺️❤️ xxxx

That's how my labor started! Was having lots of watery red discharge when I wiped. And I wiped for like 30 min straight, seriously 😂. Called my doc and he said it was prob mucus plug and that it was ok. I had doc appt the following morning so I figured it was OK. Went to bed and got up 30 min later to check if I was still having discharge as I was having really intense cramps. Walked into the bathroom and felt like my shorts were really wet. Dropped my shorts and they were soaked through and I was leaking everywhere. Went to the hospital and got admitted!

At this point, start getting ready. Make sure your bags are packed! Not fun running around while you are leaking amniotic fluid and having contractions and you are frantically trying to figure out what to pack 😂.

My doctors office # is fwd to his emergency answering service during his lunch and after office hours. If all you get is a regular office greeting go to L&D. It's hard to tell if you have mucus in the pictures. How do you feel?
