Listening to my bf asleep on the phone??

So even saying that sounds weird, but my boyfriend and I are long distance and sometimes he falls asleep on the phone and I just end up not hanging up or going to sleep myself because I almost like it when he falls asleep because it makes me feel like I'm there with him. It's not like I'm sitting there creepily listening to him breathe, it kinda just makes me feel closer to him but I don't wanna creep him out if he were to wake up and realize I haven't hung up. Is that weird? Am I alone in doing this?😂

Omg I laughed so hard when I read “creepily hearing him breathe" I just picture you intensely staring your phone hahahaha but I think it's sweet you do that and I think he'll understand you not hanging out and just listening to him

When my BF and I were in high school we would call each other at night, and fall asleep on the phone and wake up still on the phone, and tell each other good morning. Because we were young, in love 15 year olds, now we are in love 21 year olds and I sleep next to him every night and still love to hear him sleep and wake up to tell him good morning. 💜

I do it with my boyfriend every night. We have gotten to the point where neither of us can sleep without the other one on the phone. He has nightmares about losing me when we aren't on the phone. It's not weird at all. I feel the exact same way. I feel like I'm so much closer to him whenever we are on the phone. I FaceTime with him and it's amazing! It is the thing that has kept our relationship going this strong and it'll be a year and a half on November 24
