Flu shot?

I never ever have gotten a flu shot before and the gyno said I definitely should. I'm a teacher so I am always exposed to germs. I hear so many negative things about the flu shot. Do u plan on getting one? Should I get it?

Yes definitely get it! I've been teaching for 9 years and I used to get the flu every year until I started getting the shot. And I heard pregnant women are more susceptible to getting sick so I would get it to be safe :)

I got the flu shot during my last pregnancy and I intend on doing it for this pregnancy as well. My 11mo old son also just had his flu booster (he's in daycare and picks up EVERYTHING). If I can avoid being sick while pregnant, I will do everything in my power to do so!

I have my first prenatal in 2 weeks and i am going to see if i can get a flu shot because i am a preschool teacher and really dont want the flu on top of all of this
