Does your so go to your appts

Question

Does your so go to every single appt with you? My husband is excited for the baby and loves hearing updates, but he hates hospitals. He came to my first appt, but he really didnt want to be there.

We have to drive an hour and a half to get my Dr's I'm not a great driver and our appointment is always right after we get out of work (we work nights), if he didn't come with me I honestly wouldn't know what I'd do.

Only to scans or if he happens to already be off work.

He does when he can. But he can't take time off work like I can. He's been to my first 2 but he won't be able to go to the next one. He's not a huge fan of them, but he loves seeing the baby on the scans.

My husband came to every ob appointment with #1. I'm trying to deter him from coming to all of them with #2, just because I felt like the appointments were 80% useless and I'd rather him save his time to use for after the baby is born. (I mean obviously the anatomy scan and the ultrasound appointments are worth coming to, but most of the appointments were: "how're you feeling? Let's take your BP. Any questions? Ok bye." Having gone through it once before, I don't have nearly as many questions this round and I would rather just save my sick time for after baby is here! Lol

He comes to find out the gender but doesn't come to my checkups which I'm completely ok with. He's the financial provider of our household of 5 and if he misses it will effect the paycheck

Yes, he's so supportive. We schedule them on his off days so I don't have to drive and so he can attend. He's such a sweetheart

Omg! My SO will make the appointments on days he can attend he had a weak stomach but wants to be there for every appt he can make

No he is working.. most appointments are pointless to go to anyway.. I don't even wanna go..

He comes to a majority of them.  For our other 2, if he could get a couple hours off work he was with me. Now he works at night, so he is able to make the appointments. He only did not come to my last one, because i was afraid something happened to the baby and i did not want him to be there if they couldn't find the heartbeat (because i believed that was what was going to happen). But everyrhing turned out fine, so he is raring to go to all the rest.
