Can birth control cause yeast infections?

I've been on Sprintec for 3 months and in the past 3 weeks I've had 2 yeast infections. I'm wondering if the birth control is causing it or something else. I've only ever gotten one before a couple years ago.
PLEASE HELP I DONT WANT TO BUY MONISTAT ANYMORE

Omg that's exactly why is stopped taking birth control! It drove me crazy I researched if that is the cause, never really got an answer but till this day I believe it does.
