Depo-Shot

I've been on the depo-shot since July. It was good until I started slightly spotting brown tinged not much. Then a month later got a light bleeding which was my period for about a week. & now every so often I've been lightly brown spotting on and off. It's frustrating does this stop.? My next shot is in October. I'm debating on just getting on the pill if this spotting does not stop. Any opinions what should I do.? Should I continue on the shot or just stop. I hate having to wear a panty liner every single day and sometimes even light tampon when the spotting is a bit much. Thank you for reading ladies...
