My husband hurt me

So last night my husband kept putting his feet on me. I absolutely hate feet and was getting annoyed so he allowed me to get one hit to make it even. I told him I was going to slap his thigh but he said no to slap his back which I did and apparently I did that a little too hard. I immediately apologized because I didn't mean to hit him that hard. He then got really angry and his face expressed that he really wanted to hurt me. I tried to calm him down repeatedly saying I'm sorry but he just kept saying, "I'm going to punch you" and "I really want to punch you in the face". I started getting really scared at this point and just kept saying I'm sorry and then all of a sudden he gave me a blow to my stomach with his knee. I then started crying and fell down to the floor, scooted into a corner and went into fetal position while grasping for air and praying he wouldn't kill me.  He immediately started apologizing and saying he's sorry, that he thought I was going to block his knee etc. He also kept tying to hug me and pick me up but I kept pushing him away because I really did not want to be near him. I really wanted to just go to my grandmothers house but also didn't want my family in our business so when I finally caught my breath I ran into the bathroom and just sat there and cried for a good hour.
