Who is considered white??

I'm sure this sounds like a dumb question but I'm curious as to who is considered "white". Like when someone posts and says something about "white people" who are you referring to? Asians have light skin but I know they are usually considered POC. Is it only people of European descent? Would you consider those living in Ireland, Italy, or Australia to be white people? Like how is it actually defined

Your country has nothing to do with skin color. There are white Africans, black Australians, there are even black people in Ireland.

My skin is light. But also, Korean isn't Caucasian = Asian isn't white.

The keyword IMO is "descent". If you are a descendent of Europe, for example, you are Caucasian. Caucasion=white.

I can't really speak for anyone else but I watched this really good video about whether or not Hispanics are considered white, and I think it works for many other ethnic groups as well...on YouTube you can look up "Are Hispanics White?" By MTV News
