My birthday is coming up and my boyfriend wants to pay for the tattoo I've been planning. It is not a very expensive tattoo although I have been saving up for a little while. The theme of the tattoo had nothing to do with my boyfriend which he knows, and he said he might even get something done as well. I'm a little conflicted bc of course I appreciate his offer and it would be a load off financially but I'm also scared the tattoo will remind me of him forever. We are serious and committed but I'm still scared about possibly regretting the tattoo later down the road in case anything happens to us. Am I just overthinking this? Thanks in advance!
