What did you do with your miscarried baby's remains?

Kiddo was only 8 weeks along, but we made a little shroud and buried him in the family shrine (my ex-husband's family is Buddhist, so we had a shrine) and then planted some flowers.

We buried ours in our backyard and planted a tree in the same spot. Baby was about eight weeks and it didn't seem right to flush it but I didn't know what else to do, so that was what we came up with. It brought me some peace about it at least, it's not an easy decision to make.

I miscarried mine at 13w in the bathroom of the waiting room in thr ER. As i turned to retrieve the remains the toilet flushed. Damn automatic flushing toilets.

I had to have a DNC with mine. So I never saw my baby. Wasnt even offered for me to take and bury. The doctor just took care of it
