So that other Harry Potter post got me thinking. I love Harry Potter, but I know a few kids whose parents never let them read or watch Harry Potter because it's a book about, well, witches and wizards! I also read that the series was banned in a few school libraries because of it's focus on magic, and that it was evil in some way.

So I want to know about your opinions. Do you know someone who wasn't allowed to read or watch Harry Potter? If so, why? Or do you not want your kids to read it and why?

And when I said read in the poll answers, I really mean read/watch, because they kind of go hand in hand on whether or not you were allowed to do it.
