Does anyone else have purple stretch marks. Why is this.

My SO's are purple and red and he has them on his stomach and arms. Mine never were any color really but they are super white and im pale as it is so they definitely stand out on my body. I have them on my boobs and thighs so when i wear shorts people can see them.

I had them during and after pregnancy. I know some people who never had kids that got them just from weight change. I also know some kids who have them just from growing.

They can be red or purple... Just how it is.   Over time they may fade to white.

I dont fully know but my doctor once asked me if i had  purple stretch marks cause it could b a symptom for PCOS
