Ovulation

So i have irregular periods, my boyfriend and i been trying to conceive for 3months we try we try nothing , i dont know if i should believe the dates that it says im ovulating , is there any other way i can know when im ovulating even though i have irregular periods!!  This is too stressfull i see everyone around me getting pregnant with out trying and it makes me feel bad because i want to get pregnant HELP!!
