what to wear to my baby shower?

I need something verrrrrry affordable as I'm on disability right now so that means basically no money.  Any suggestions? I've been drawn to maxi dresses with empire waist but I'm soooo short (4'11) I'd end up spending more to alter to dress. HELP! Pretty please💗

do you have anything that you haven't worn before or can be revamped up ...maybe something no one has photographed you in? if so maybe you can use the dress money to get your hair done real pretty and just do your makeup real glowy and fresh and enjoy your shower...I understood the tight disability income struggle...I'm about to pull out something in my closet and revamp myself

Check out the Maxi style from Lularoe - it's actually a skirt but can be worn as a dress for shorter ladies. I don't have one myself but my friend does and she loves it!

I ordered this dress from amazon a few weeks ago as just a casual dress, but considered ordering another for my shower. I'm 5'1 and it's the perfect length. I was very surprised. It's thin, but comfy.  I ordered two sizes up to accommodate for small sizing and baby belly.

I totally get dressed being too long - I'm 5'1. You can always tie up one side of your dress, that's what I'm going to have to do for the dress I'm wearing to my shower! It kind of adds a cute little flair to it also!
