BC for heavy periods

Hi,

I'm 19 years old and wanting to start the pill, mainly to help with my heavy periods. They're regular but very very heavy and it's been getting me down recently.

I was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations for birth control (available in the UK) that is best for heavy periods without bad side effects. It would be helpful if it was also good for clearing up acne.
