3pm on the 5th August my waters broke on my way to the hospital for an appointment. Anyway so they checked if it was my waters and it was so they sent me home to see if I would go into labour naturally, otherwise I had an appointment the next morning for induction. By 6pm I was feeling dull cramps but nothing bad, by 11 pm I was in bed trying to get just a little bit of sleep but by that time my contractions were 3-4 mins apart and 50 seconds ish long. My So was asleep and so I tried to labour as long as I could on my own so he could get some sleep. 3am I accidentally woke him with a contraction they was quite intense by now but still I could handle it. He told me to call the hospital I didn't want to go in yet but they told me I should as my contractions were 1-2 mins apart. When I got there I was checked and I was at 5 cm. I didn't want pain relief so I tried a bath it helped but I ended up feeling hot and faint so I got out. So I tried gas and air and it made me sick but ladies even if it makes you sick keep using it cause the sickness passes and it really helps just make you care less about the pain. So by 9 I was feeling so much pressure to push but my midwife said she won't check me till 10. So when she left the room I asked another doc to come in and check me she went off and said to my midwife "why isn't she push long already I can see the head" so with the next contraction I was allowed to push 3 big pushes and he was out 10.08am 6pound 2 oz born at 37&6 weeks no tear or cuts. I am 17 years old by the way! So proud of myself ☺️
