Using pump to bring on contractions?

Hi, 
I've read where you can use your breast pump to stimulate your nipples to bring on contractions. Has anyone tried this? 
I'm a first time mom and only going to be 36 weeks this week so I won't be doing it myself (yet) but I have been very infatuated with ways to induce labor for when I get close or overdue. 
The only thing I have been doing is drinking raspberry tea, taking evening primrose oil pills, and bouncing on my excersice ball.

Breast stimulation will work because it signals ur body to release oxytocin. Pitocin is a man made replication of Oxytocin. Good luck.

Nipple simulation is the only method that actually has science behind it:) they say to do one side for up to ten min then rest for at least 15 and see if you feel anything:) good luck!

The only way to actually induce labor is with pitocin. The pump or any other method won't work unless your body is already ready for labor. I've been pumping colostrum for a few days now, also 36 weeks, zero contractions.

I've watched a documentary and a couple of ladies used a pump to bring on labor but they were already 40 weeks. My midwife told me not to try mine until 38/39 weeks once it came in the mail if I must play with it etc. Gove it a go once you can, it can't hurt either way.
