Ok so some background is he broke up with me (over snapchat) a few months ago because he wasn't in a place where a relationship would work, which I completely understood his situation, but then we had a weird patch after that for like a month where he wanted to hook up and then stopped talking to me for like 2 months after I said I wasn't down for hookups, and he texted me like 2 weeks ago, I didn't respond, but today is his birthday and I'm debating on saying happy birthday to him or not, because I kinda miss him, but I also don't know if it would be a bad idea to really send him anything though because I know my friends and family don't like him so even though I do miss him I'm not sure if it's a bad idea to really even give him an opportunity to try to get back in my life.
