what do Braxton hicks feel like?

I'm 19+6 and I had my first ones last Thursday right when I woke up I felt my lower stomach (uterus) was fairly hard and tight. My husband knew something was up the way I was acting and then about a minute later it went away. I went to pee and about 10-15min later it did it again for roughly 30-45seconds. No pain just tight and slightly uncomfortable. Drink more water, and it keeps them away!

It's been 5yrs since I was pregnant the first time but I don't remember them hurting. Your uterus just contracts and feels hard. It can be kind of uncomfortable when you are close to the end of pregnancy but everything is uncomfortable at that point lol!
