I usually have a glass or two while on my period and right up until my fertile week, then I don't drink again until AF comes. Really, it's fine, I just prefer not to. The baby is not connected to your blood stream until several weeks into pregnancy so you won't cause harm. Some doctors say that drinking can cause infertility, but if that were true there would be less "oops" babies conceived after a night on the town lol

My daughter was conceived after a drunken week of holiday cocktails! Probably because we were relaxed enjoying ourselves and not stressing about it!
