Best underwear to wear on your period??

I'm 25, been having my period since I was about 11. Wondered what other girls wore during 'star week' as after two babies, i find men's boxers easily the best thing! My post baby belly is totally unforgiving in girly underwear, i have the worst bloating and back pain, and I tend to go for comfort other than style.. am I the only one? Would be interesting to know :)
