Breast Feeding & Working?

Question

Does anyone have experience breast feeding and going back to work after about 3 weeks? I'm a school counselor, and I'm concerned about pumping at work and how many times a day, etc...is it possible?

I am teacher. I read an article on pinterest about how after you have trained your body to create enough milk, you dont gave to pump every 3 hrs. You can pump once, but pump longer like 25 min to ensure you have emptied your breasts completely.

I went back to work and pumped. ( Granted it was longer than 3 weeks) I ended up renting a stronger pump so that it took less time. I also bought a mini fridge for my office to make it easier to store the milk.

I breastfeed my son for 5 months, I would of done it longer but my milk was decreasing and this is why, I pumped every 3 hours I ate really good and drank a lot of water and milk oh and ate a hand full of dates everyday it really helps with increasing breast milk I was pumping 4/5 oz a bottle so that's two bottles every 3 hours., after 3 months it was hard for me to pump every 3 hrs so my milk was decreasing and I was still trying to pump whenever I could. If you keep ur body on a daily routine everyday u will maintain the milk flow and also some people milk don't come in as quickly as others so don't give up just eat good drink a lot of water n pump

I work as a trauma nurse and pumped with my first and at first I pumped about every four hours ( pump right when I got to work at 6 before clock in, then around 10:30 and then again around 3:30 and then right after work at 8) but that was because I couldn't last any longer with out being extremely uncomfortable. 
It's definitely manageable but I would just eat when I pumped since I wouldn't have time to have a separate break. Good luck mama!
