I've heard from my friend who is on the pill that some birth control pills cannot be mixed in with certain medications. She cannot take a certain brand of pills with her adhd pills and her doctor had to specifically choose one that wouldn't cancel out her pills. I'm on the shot for about 3 weeks. I usually take ibuprofen, sleeping pills and benadryl. Those are the only medicines I take. I usually have headaches, and allergy and hard time sleeping. Would any of the medicines I take do any harm to my shot, would it make it less effective? Please let me know! The doctor asked me if I have any prescription medicine and I don't and she didn't really say I couldn't take certain medications with the shot.
