Obgyn preference

Sh
Sheena
When I found out I was pregnant I did not have insurance. So I was first kind of forced to see a women's clinic. They gave me an obgyn. But now that I have insurance I don't know if I should go to a more private office rather than a women's clinic which doesn't really seem very personable. I know it's all my preference but what would you guys do?

I much prefer to find a doc that listens and takes time to explain stuff. Someone that seems to genuinely care.

I am picky. I would go to a private practice, but do some research first. However, if you like your current OB at the clinic then stay.

I prefer a midwife at a birthing center. You get to know them and it's a much more personal experience

Same here! Second pregnancy with a midwife at a birthing center. Wouldn't have it any other way! 💗

I guess I'm just not picky at all 😂 my dr is in his mid 60's, has his own practice but is also a professor at the teaching hospital in the city.. Sometimes he's pretty boring and monotonous, but I know he knows what he's doing. I guess it helps knowing that I'll having another csection and he won't be going to the hospital with me for that.
