How do you change baby?

I know this sounds crazy but what's your routine when you change baby ? Do you use baby powder ? Nobody ever taught me how to change a diaper, it's always just been my motherly instinct (since it's pretty self explanatory) but I just thought I'd see if any other moms have any tricks!

I place a fresh diaper under the old one, he has pooped and peered on me lol. Then I wipe him clean and put a&d ointment on him. It prevents diaper rash and acts as a barrier between the skin and pee.

I unfold the fresh diaper before even opening up the diaper baby is wearing and leave the dirty diaper underneath until all the wiping is done in case she pees again or isn't finished pooping (qhich happens every so often.) that way I can quick close it up to prevent a big mess and not waste a diaper. after all is done I fan her butt a little to dry up from the wipes then put on the clean diaper. don't really use baby powder. if she's got a rash I use A&D cream.

I unfold the new diaper and have it ready and then I take off the old diaper and roll it up with one hand and I hold my baby's legs up with other hand. I take a cloth wipe (it's pre-soaked in water) from my dispenser and wipe his butt. Sometimes I put on some Aquaphor for a barrier, and then I put on the new diaper. 
A couple times a day or at the end of the day, I take my container of dirty cloth wipes and put it into a bucket of water/OxiClean in my bathroom to launder.

We just clean with wipes, and put on the fresh diaper. Vaseline is actually a better barrier than baby powder. I've never used baby powder, not even when my first was a baby. We use Huggies or pampers diapers, and I use the pampers natural clean wipes. We've never had any rashes, just slight redness when LO was having several runny BMs in a day. Treated with some ointment at each change and redness was gone within the day.

I would put Vaseline on my baby boys butt to prevent rash plus it was easier to clean his poop but now he's 4 months and I've stopped using the Vaseline also his poop isn't as thick so yeah haha. If he does get a little rash I use Boudreauxs butt paste and it's gone the next day.

Just diaper and wipes. I use pampers sensitive wipes and we have had no problem with diaper rash.
