natural birth?

So I've been thinking about doing natural birth when I have my baby. What are some people's opinions? It's my first child

I'm going to have a supervised natural birth in a birthing center. So, my doctor will be there in case anything happens, and I will give birth in the squatting position with my husband helping to support my body.

I'll try for a natural birth but it's also out of my hands really. You can end up a c-section very quickly if baby's distressed. Prepare yourself for anything

If you want a natural birth, you should sign up for Bradley Method courses and consider hiring a doula and receiving care from a midwife.

Regardless of who your primary care is provided by, ask for their c-section rate.

My advice is don't get tooo set on a birth plan. Do what you want, but also be open to the fact that things aren't going to always go as you want. It's best to be educated on natural birth, epidural and c section. Emergencies happen and babies are predictable. Good luck to you! If you are able to give birth naturally, don't let people think that you won't be able to bear the pain at all. Also remember though that there is no prize for going totally naturally so if you seriously cannot handle the pain- get the epidural! Just have an open mind and you will be fine 😊

People have been giving birth for years! I feel it's all in your head and how you control it. I plan on going natural. :) people say I'm crazy, I'm a FTM but it's not impossible. U go girl!

I think you should do what you want but plan for it to happen differently! Everyone has a perfect plan and it rarely works out! Plan it how you want it but be prepared for it to change!

I chose to be in the hospital because if anything were to go wrong I wanted to be in the right place to catch it! And luckily I did because things did go wrong!

My friend wanted a natural at home birth in her bathtub and she ended up be ambulances to the hospital for a emergency c-section.

I'm all for natural birth if it's what you want, but natural birth can be done in the hospital in the hospitals bath tub!

Scares me when people do at home births, it's beautiful and amazing when it works out but not so great when things go wrong

I had 4 kids. With my son they gave me meds in my iv and the girls were 100% natural!!!!!    For me it went so much faster!!!!
