mattress protector??

Question

Midwife mentioned getting a mattress protector in case my waters go in bed but also because I'm having a home birth.

Anyone found any decent products? Hubby doesn't want it on his side cause he is always boiling and they often make the sheets not be able to breathe.

You can ise a garbage bag/s, but i bought one from the dollar store.

We have them on all our beds! It doesn't make the bed any more hot. I get all mine from Amazon. It's really good for your mattress even if you weren't worried about water breaking or homebirth!

So, we get told to double make our bed. We have a mattress protector on our bed anyway because it was a stupid expensive mattress and I would be pissed if I spilled tea or coffee or something. But even with the mattress protector we will shower curtain on top of protector, fitted sheet, another shower curtain on top of that then another fitted sheet, then our flat sheet.

I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to feel about sleeping on shower curtains but I'm promised it's not as bad as it sounds.
