So I am a first year teacher (was a long term sub for half of a year and taught private prek last year). I teach fourth grade in a lower income district. I just married my husband (early September) and we planned to start ttc right away. I have been going back and forth about what to do. I don't want to appear irresponsible and get pregnant immediately after being hired but I also feel like waiting and putting off our dreams of having a family will make me resent my career and I really don't feel that way. Advice?
