is it weird?

Is it weird that I don't really care who delivers my baby? Like I don't care what dr does it. As long as they are experienced and take my birth plan seriously. I hope I'm not in the wrong for feeling this way. What do you guys think about this?

During my labor the nurses were WAY more important! I love my doc, but he readily just came in at the very end and got the baby out, shook my hand and left lol

I feel the same way. I see a midwife for my appointments, but it doesn't guarantee that she will deliver my baby (which, at first I thought was stupid because what's the point of finding a midwife you like...). Whatever midwife is on call will be the one to deliver the baby, which could be one I haven't even met yet. But they stick to your birthplan (assuming no complications arise), and I think that I'm just gonna be wanting this baby OUT at that point.

I was the same way. My ob group has 5 doctors and throughout my pregnancy they have you meet them all once so you're familiar with them. In the end I didn't meet 2 of the doctors and they both ended up being the doctors on call when I went into labor
