My husband got stationed in Okinawah on July 7th, I found out I was pregnant July 18th.i didn't go out there with him at first because I didn't want him to be worried about me adjusting and everything else he had to deal with. He signed for 24 months, now they are saying he will have to extend to do the one deployment they sent him out there for bringing his time to 30 months.

I know the conditions of his barracks and I was horrified to ask how base housing was because of the mold situation.

He has now decided that he doesn't want me or the baby to go out there at all because he doesn't think it will be a safe environment.

I just need a little reassurance that I made the right choice in not going out there immediately.
