when do I call the Doctor?

I found out I was pregnant a couple of days ago, I'm not sure how far along I am but think it's still quite early. I'm a first time mum and just wondering when should I call the Doctor?

Congratulations! I found out I was pregnant on Friday 2nd Sept and booked an appointment for Monday 5th! Best to go straight away just to check you're blood pressure etc. and then they can get the ball rolling for you. When I saw the doctor he booked me in for my first midwife appointment in 29th so I'm counting down the days! :) x

Call right away you wont have to go there th me same day.. The make appointment based on your weeks.. Usualy first starts around 7/9 ww

I got my first positive today too. This may be a completely dumb question but do you usually call your family doctor or your obgyn?

I'd call now! They often have very full schedules, so the earlier you call, the earlier you can get in to a doctor.

I would go ahead and call, telling them you got a BFP. When I had my daughter, they set me up for an appointment around 7 weeks but some doctors will get you in to confirm the pregnancy. I got a BFP Friday, and I'm going in for blood work today to confirm. Either way, I would go ahead and call. Congratulations!!
