Ladies, I need hope here please.

Today is my 8th day after taking my last provera pill (15mg/day for 7 days) to induce a period (unovulation/pcos) .. well I phoned the docs yesterday and they said my period should have started within 5 days, and that the provera test failed and now I must either go for some type of injections or wait days/weeks/months until my cycle comes on its own..

I have read that some people get their af after 10+ days after their last pill. Is there still hope for me? Been cramping and have backacke on and off for a week but no af.
