Zarah Monae was born on 9/14/16 at 1:21 a.m after an induced labor that took two days to become active. We had a scare where her heart rate dropped and we were literally rushed to the O.R. for an emergency Cesarean section. However, after faith and prayer, her heart rate returned to normal, and she was born vaginally instead. Zarah is loved and was anticipated by many. Her birth, my family and the hospital staff made this an unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever.
