TTC 3 yrs - detected LH surge before period - secondary ovulation?? Any idea anyone....
Hi all, my first post here! We've been TTC for about 3 years now. I've been diagnosed with mild pcos and hypothyroidism. But my cycles are very regular 28-29 days. And I ovulate on my own even when not taking fertility pills.
I went through fertility treatments last year with three failed IUI. Doctor recommended ivf next. So we decided to wait it out in hopes of it happening naturally.
Brief (well not really) history: I usually ovulate on CD15. I use clear blue digital an get flashing smiley on CD14 and solid smiley on CD15-16. I recently started monitoring with bbt as well and saw a dip in temp (96.93 F) a couple of days prior to my positive opk followed by elevated temps(97.5-98.2 F) for a few days indicating I ovulated. So we BD a whole week to make sure we didn't miss it.
Today is my CD27 and AF is due in a couple of days.
Now here's my concern: My bbt yesterday showed another dip in temp (96.17 F) and negative opk. My bbt today went up to 97.52 and surprisingly I got BLINKING smiley again.
I read a several post on similar issue and also searched online but was not satisfied with mixed opinions and information.
Has anyone been in similar situation? I am beginning to wonder is somehow I was misinterpreting my ovulation cycle and my actually ovulation occurs right before AF. Any ideas?
I know this post is too detailed but hopefully I'd get some feedback :)
Cheers!!!
