5 weeks 3 days.. Too early for an ultrasound?

Had my first sonogram today.... They saw the sac and the yolk as what they explained ..told me to come back next week to do another sonogram since I'll be farther along.. Did anyone have a sonogram this early and saw anything ? They said by next week I should hear the heartbeat as well.. I'll be 6 weeks 3 days by then.

This is at 7 weeks exactly. Baby looked like a blob, but we could see him/her and could actually see and hear the heartbeat.

I did my first ultrasound on week 5 day 3 as well. You wnt b able to see much in it . Only a sac and if it is empty or filled with zoom effect . My doctor did this since I had some earlier issues with my health and I was been monitored every month and luckily my next appointment fa on my week 5 ....first time we saw a baby was in week 9 with the heartbeat . Usually 7 plus week is a good time for a heartbeat to be heard ... Good luck ahead.

My dr wouldn't do a scan until my HCG was 5000. Can't see much at that point regardless of date. I had it at 6.4 and could see baby and a heartbeat but even then only on trans vag. The abdominal she did right before only showed a sac. Good luck! And no worries 😉

With my first I got my first sonogram at 8weeks
With my 2nd it was at 6weeks 5 days and I heard a heart beat..
