how do we tell if baby is head down?

If I don't get another ultrasound do they feel for how the baby is positioned? I'm pretty certain she is head down by kicks vs punches but my baby also likes to keep her feet near her head, lol. So it's confusing to get hard feet kicks lower too. Idk.

When they measure bump at around 32/34/36weeks they should be able to make out position of baby, without ultrasound x

Yes when they do your fundal height, they can check the position of the head! I'm 32 weeks and I just went to the doctor yesterday and they checked and she is head down..

My last 3 appointments they've been able to tell baby is breech just by pressing my belly. they're going to do a quick bedside scan at 37 weeks just to confirm before booking a c section.

Have you felt hiccups?? If you have and know where they are youll know what way they are facing my son gets them and i feel them clear in my pelvic region means head down. It was a rule of thumb i was told cause the jerk of the hiccup points what way they are.

O yea OB can feel baby head and body. My last OB was amazing. She guessed his weight the day he was born by feel. 
 I thought my was sideways as I can feel his body stretched across my belly and kicks at one side only. But nope he head down he just really long lol
