Comprehensive List of Sexual Orientations

尺ㄖ
*This topic is purely to serve as a comprehensive list of Sexual Orientations. A Romantic Orientations list will be on the way, however I don't necessarily feel comfortable making a list on Gender  Identities based on the fact I am Cisgender.
Before I start the list, it is important to understand that sexual orientations and romantic orientations are not the same. Sexual orientations purely focus on labelling the sexual attraction (or lack of) that people have towards gender groups.
Androsexual: the sexual attraction towards men. Tends to be used as a label by those who are non-binary.
Asexual: the lack of, or no, sexual attraction towards any gender identity. "Asexual" is also commonly shortened to "ace" and is actually a part of its own sexuality spectrum called the "Ace Spectrum". This spectrum contains identities like Asexuality, Demisexuality, Greysexuality and Lithosexuality.
Bisexual: the sexual attraction to two genders. Not necessarily the sexual attraction to men and women, so it is something that differs by the individual. Contrary to popular belief, bisexual people are not sexually attracted exclusively to cisgender people.
Demisexual: Commonly also a part of the Ace Spectrum, it is defined as someone who does not experience sexual attraction unless they have formed a strong emotional connection with another individual.
Gay: a term used to describe individuals who are primarily emotionally, physically, and/or sexually attracted to the same gender. More commonly associated and used for Men Loving Men (MLM), but can also be used for Woman Loving Woman (WLW) and as a blanket term for any non-heterosexual person in the Community.
Greysexual: might not normally experience sexual attraction, but do sometimes.
Gynesexual: the sexual attraction towards women. Tends to be used as a label by those who are non-binary.
Homosexual: the sexual attraction to the same gender. However it is a medical terms, this term is considered stigmatizing due to its history as a category of mental illness, and is discouraged for common use (use gay or lesbian instead).
Lesbian: used to describe women attracted romantically, erotically, and/or emotionally to other women.
Lithosexual: defined as experiencing sexual attraction, however not wanting it reciprocated.
Pansexual: the sexual attraction to all gender identities. Or also defined as the sexual attraction to people regardless of their gender identity.
Polysexual: the sexual attraction to many gender identities but not all.
Sapiosexual: being sexually attracted to someone you find to be intelligent.
