Idk if I'm being over protective because it's my first baby but I don't want my baby around anyone who hasn't got there Pertussis (whooping cough) vaccination, I am overreacting ?

The only people who will be getting the Tdap are people who will be spending a lot of time with baby. Otherwise as long as they are healthy they can visit.

Not at all. I'm due at the end of December & we already told grandparents we're requiring it. The occasional visitor I'm likely not going to expect it out of.

No it's understandable. I'm asking everybody who wants to be around the baby often to get a flu shot (family and close friends) just because he'll be born at the end of February or beginning of March. 
Now I understand if they deny my request but they'll need to understand that they won't be around the baby then. Just a precaution and I'm not trying to be hateful.

My research is in bacterial toxins-you are NOT overreacting! I'm doing the same thing once my son is born. Husband just got a booster (dtap). Pertussis is no joke.
