does getting or even more so REMOVING the birth control implant hurt?!?!

I can deal with getting it but does removing it feel like hell? Im thinking of getting it

Got mine taken out not too long ago. The numbing burns, but them taking it out is more of a weird tugging sensation. The tugging didn't hurt though. It doesn't really hurt and only took about 20 minutes to pull out.

I got mom removed today. It hurts getting the shot to numb your arm, but after that you don't feel it. I was told it will ache for a day or two after though.
