Super congested need help !

One of the stranger side effects of pregnancy is sinus problems and congestion and they are hitting me full force ! This morning I was so congested I couldn't breathe and the post nasal drip was so bad I began choking to the point I threw up. Anything safe I can take to help ease up these symptoms aside from a saline spray? Fiancé went to the chemist this morning and they don't carry saline spray apparently, he came home with sudafed. When I researched that it's supposedly very unsafe. Any suggestions ?
