Pediatrician Shopping?
My daughter and I have seen the same family practice doctor for the last four years and I had planned on having her see the baby as well.
I called them this morning to see if there was any paperwork I needed to have done or any forms to send in and the secretary was a bit snippy in telling me that she was not only not a pediatrician (she's a family dr which I'm ok with) but that the practice wasn't taking new patients at this time. I explained to her the situation and she said she would ask the dr and have someone call me back in the next few days.
In the off chance that she says no how do I even go about finding a pediatrician for the baby? Aside from seeing who is contracted with my insurance do I just start calling people? I have no idea what I'm doing ladies-help!!
