Why does everyone have to put someone else down to business Tyler themselves????

Decided to go to subway for lunch after my class and there was a group(3men) of what I assume were business men. So whatever I order, sit down then they order and sit pretty close to me so I can hear everything very clearly. I don't know who Julie is but I wish I could find her and tell her that her business associate was straight up throwing her under the bus to their boss's. I don't care how young or new Julie is to the company obviously she got into the position she is in today for a reason. I sat her for 15 minutes listening to this man belittle someone who wasn't even there to say something for themselves, and you know what maybe she isn't ready for the job or what ever but already have the decency to have that person there to defend themselves instead of having secret meetings and that wasnt my term for it but the one boss straight up asked him if that's why he asked for the "secret meeting". This whole situation just bothered the fuck out of me... End rant sorry for that but I needed to say something
