Flying over the holidays?

Is anyone planning on flying anywhere over the holidays? I'm due Feb. 9, so will be 33 going on 34 weeks when I'd be traveling. My doctor's office said that generally after 32 weeks, they prefer you don't fly (not the case for everyone, but depends on how the pregnancy is going). I'd be taking a 2.5 hour flight followed by an hour long drive both ways. Thoughts? I'd be sad not seeing my extended family and my mom is pressuring me, but ultimately I want to do what's best for me and my baby.

I'm due Feb 23 and am taking an hour flight to visit family for Christmas. It really depends on the airline and their own policies. Google it! If anything, get a note that you're clear to fly from your doctor or midwife and you should be okay if you're still within the airline's rules. I'm using Westjet and all I did was Google "west jet flying while pregnant"

I'm flying for Thanksgiving, so it won't be that far out, but I thought I'd mention this:I read that if you look super-pregnant (you know how some moms look like they're about to pop at 7 months), an airline can require a doctor's note to let you on the plane. You may wanna check into that (depending on how you look by then).
