To pee or not to pee . . How many of You ladies done a 24 hour urine collection?

I was ordered by my doctor to do a 24 hour urine collection. So i have been staying close to home bc I didn't want to haul the jug everywhere today. Honestly I'm pretty grossed out by it lol I mean wouldn't you be too?

It was more annoying to me than gross. Just did mine last week at 17 weeks. Results came back normal. I hope I don't need to do this again.😩

I did it once and my husband thought it was gross but it didn't bother me that much. I had trouble sleeping that night because getting the jug every time I had to go made me wake up more than usual so I couldn't fall back asleep as quickly. Hope your results are good!

Why do you have to do it? Is this normal or is it because you have other issues that need to be resolved?

I did one at 13 weeks I'm not grossed out it's for my own good . I had preeclampsia last time so whatever we can do to avoid it I'm all for . I do not want NICU time like we had last year 😩😩😩!!! I was so depressed over it lol

I had to do it with my first baby. I had high BP and preeclampsia. They kept me at the hospital over night to do it. I think I was about 35-36 weeks at the time.

I had to do it because I kept getting kidney stones. It was weird. It could be worse! They wanted my husband to collect his poop and refrigerate at!!! 😳😳😳

I had to do one every 6 months for ten years lol. You get used to it! Just be glad you only have to do it once.
