what is the time frame for hair shedding ?

I'm almost 12 weeks pp but baby won't be 3 months till the end of sept (does that make sense?).  I can tell I'm starting to shed. How long will the shed last? What's ur experience ?

My friend and coworker (who is a hairstylist) had a 5 month babe, and is still shedding. She hasn't been able to breastfeed. Sooo I guess it varies?

I shed for 2-ish months. It was gross. I knew I would shed, but I thought it would last a week or two...

I'm 5mo pp and just started noticing it. Have small bald patch near temples now.. couldn't breast feed.

With my last two babies I would start to lose hair a few weeks after I stopped breastfeeding. It seemed like the longer I breastfed the more significant the hairloss. I'm 8 weeks pp and still breastfeeding. No hairloss yet.

My hair stylist said it takes five months and it's the worst at five months . She also told me to keep taking my vitamins and it would help it . I'm almost 8 mnths pp and I am still shedding hair like crazy.

My hair dresser said once it starts it will last about 3 months, because hair grows in 3 month cycles. I'm 12 weeks pp too and it just started falling out this week for me.... hoping it doesn't get too bad.

Wow this is depressing to me.... I don't have a lot of hair to begin with so by the time it's done taking its course ill probably be bald

My doctor told me it can last for up to two years. I ended up cutting it really short because I was tired of it clogging the drains.
